Many of you are aware the UMC has been in the midst of ongoing conversations about its future. There is a small percentage of churches who are leaving the denomination. At McCabe we intend to remain United Methodist and to continue to offer space for all to know and receive the grace of God. The process churches are using to exit is called disaffiliation and it requires the conference body to ratify that decision. This special meeting will take place around the conference, including a regional gathering at Legacy UMC in Bismarck.
