A mission trip to the Dominican Republic is scheduled for March 20-30, 2024 through our Conference’s Solar Oven Partners.
Robbin Sweeny has volunteered to serve on the March team.
You are invited to attend a Soup and Sandwich Luncheon on Sunday, January 28 in support of our Volunteer-In-Mission.
Lunch will be served downstairs in Fellowship Hall from 10:30 a.m. till 1:00 p.m.
There’s a cookie sign-up sheet in the Great Hall. A free-will offering in support of airfare, and room and board in the DR would be very much appreciated.
If you cannot attend the luncheon and wish to make a donation please make check payable to McCabe United Methodist Church with note “Solar Oven Mission Trip”.
Please place your donation in the offering plate, drop it off at the church office, give online, or use the drop located outside the south door.
Our Volunteer-In-Mission will be “Sent Forth to Serve” during a worship service close to their departure.
