During the month of February we are turning our attention to the Bismarck Cancer Center and collecting travel size toiletries for their patients. The Center’s Foundation provides fully furnished apartments to Bismarck Cancer Center patients for very low rates ($12-15/night) while they undergo radiation therapy treatments. Items that can be donated include Travel size shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, body wash, lotion, and small bars of soap. As part of a Lenten Project, after the donations are received at McCabe, the kids at AWANA will be putting the items together into special kits for the Cancer Center.
