For those unable to be with us onsite for Ash Wednesday worship, but who would like to either receive the ashes or have some on-hand while joining us online for worship that day, we are offering a couple of options. On February 17th, from 11:00am-1:00pm near the west entrance of our building, Pastors Karl and Jenny will be available for drive-thru ash imposition or to simply give you a small container of ashes. This may seem strange, but the imposition of ashes on Ash Wednesday is a deeply important ritual for many in our McCabe community, and, considering concerns related to the pandemic, we wanted to offer multiple options for those who may – for various reasons – not be with us on-site for Ash Wednesday worship. If you would like to receive a container of ashes, but this timing does not work for you, please contact the church office and other arrangements can be made!
